Our organization moves forward with the help of many volunteers who contribute their time, talent, and energy to help support this select soccer opportunity in our community. Some contributions are large and some are small, but all are valued. It takes a diverse group of people to keep this opportunity available to our kids. Because of this, we encourage parents to volunteer for one of our club or team positions. If you want to help, but are unsure about the full commitment, find someone to job-share or indicate your interest to assist with an activity.

Please indicate a position you may be interested in volunteering for or helping with. In some cases, positions are already filled, but have you ever known a volunteer organization to turn down extra help?

ÿ Team Manager: Works under team coach, contact person for the team, keeps player cards and game cards, pays game referees, is responsible for game balls and corner flags for home games, organizes team activities.

ÿ Team Mom: Is responsible for inventory of game jerseys for the team, makes sure jerseys are at each game for players, washes them after each game, assistant to team manager.

ÿ Team Manager/Mom Coordinator: Organize Team Managers and Team Moms at the start of each season serving as mentors and the link to LASSO Board of Directors.

ÿ Special Event Coordinator: Organizes special events for the entire organization. These include - LASSO nights at Lowell High School Varsity and J.V. soccer games, participating in the Lowell High School Homecoming Parade, and the Lowell Chamber of Commerce Christmas

ÿ Field Lining Coordinator: Organize a crew of volunteers to line the Soccer fields once a week at the Township Park.

ÿ Equipment Coordinator: Inventory and maintain game equipment owned by LASSO. Distribute to coaches and managers at the beginning of the season.

ÿ Uniforms Coordinator: Inventory and maintain uniforms owned by LASSO. Distribute jerseys to managers and purchase shorts/socks required for each team.
